FIRE EXTINGUISHER, GAS TANK AND SPRAY CAN RECOVERY

Handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste
The Arcore hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage and treatment plant, became operational in 2018, is mainly specialized in the management of WEEE and fire extinguishers of any type (powder, foam, carbon dioxide, halon), pressurized tanks, spray cans, paints and all waste that comes from recycling points.
The plant is authorized to treat most of the waste found in the EUROPEAN WASTE CATALOG.
Extinguisher recovery plant
What has made the Arcore plant a point of reference in the entire national territory, is that it focuses its activities on putting in reserve (R13) and recovery (12); specifically, the fire extinguishers are processed, emptied, disassembled and the individual parts, including the content, sent to the various authorized refuse and reuse sites. Only small parts are intended for disposal.
The other types of waste, where possible, follow the same treatment, otherwise they are grouped by similar characteristics and sent to recovery treatment plants for subsequent specialized processing.
The plant is authorized to treat most of the waste found in the EUROPEAN WASTE CATALOG.
Arcore waste disposal plant
The waste disposal system in Arcore extends for about 1,000 sqm.
All the offices are situated in this plant: both the executive and the commercial offices and our cosy meeting rooms.
